BFGoodrich Outstanding Trails
Memories that last a lifetime are made outdoors. We want to make sure we leave the spaces we love better than how we found them so memories can be made there for generations to come.
We're proud to partner with Tread Lightly!Ⓡ to award grants so individuals and groups can organize clean-ups, trail maintenance and more.
If you're part of an off-road club registered with Tread Lightly!Ⓡ, you can nominate one of your favorite trails for an Outstanding Trails grant!
What is BFGOODRICH TIRES OUTSTANDING TRAILS PROGRAM PRESENTED BY TREAD LIGHTLY!
Tread Lightly! recognizes that one of the best ways to promote responsible outdoor recreation is to support enthusiasts in the stewardship of their favorite trails. With the help of licensing agreements from one of Tread Lightly!’s top partners, the BFGoodrich® Tires Outstanding Trails grants are designed to help individuals and groups organize clean-ups, trail maintenance work days and other small stewardship projects.
The average grant is under $500. Those funds can be used for everything from feeding volunteers to purchasing equipment, trash bags, and tools.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
You must be an active Tread Lightly! Member Club to apply. If you aren’t a Tread Lightly! Member Club yet, check out how to sign up at BECOME A TREAD LIGHTLY! MEMBER
HOW MUCH CAN AN APPLICANT RECEIVE?
The average grant given is under $500.00. All grant recipients awarded amounts above $600 will be issued a 1099 for tax purposes, and may affect tax filing.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?
Grant applications and supporting material are due by 5:00 PM Mountain time on the date noted as the deadline for that cycle. We have the following deadlines: June 15 and September 30.
WHAT COSTS ARE ELIGIBLE?
